The church is a gathering of people together. The original word for church was ekklesia, a cultural word speaking of a gathering of people ... meaning if there’s no people gathered, there’s no ekklesia.

WHAT DOES A SUNDAY GATHERING LOOK LIKE?

Our gatherings start at 10am with a time of sung worship, communion, a time to connect with each other over coffee and baked treats, followed by a message, and often ending with a time of responding to God.

If you have kids, we have a crèche area for under 4s, and CV Kids runs two age group classes; The Nippers (4-7) and The Groms (8-12). Our kids head out to their gatherings after the worship time finishes.

We care a great deal about creating an environment that is warm and welcoming. We try our best to explain why we do what we do so that everyone feels included. Generally, people are seeking to know and love God, to live in community with one another, and are playing their part in what God is doing. Some are checking out Christianity for the first time, while others have been in church their whole lives. Central Vineyard is a place where you can come to be loved while you wrestle with the questions you have about Jesus.
