CV KIDS — Our tamariki are not just the future of the church, they are the church.

Jesus loved the little ones and we do too! We want our littlest members to feel like they belong, are loved, have a place to learn about Jesus, and have fun.

SUNDAYS

Sunday Gatherings are our most regular rhythm to nurture our tamariki. After worship, our kids split into three age groups to learn from Scripture, pray and play together.

Little Rippers (2 - 4 years)

A special space for our toddlers to start learning about Jesus. Parents are welcome to participate, or as you and your child is ready, you can check them in and return to the gathering.

Nippers (5 - 7 years)

In Nippers, we create a fun and safe space to learn about the love of Jesus through games, crafts, stories and songs.

Groms (8 - 12 years)

In Groms, we create a space for our tamariki to know Jesus more deeply by creating a fun and safe environment where they can be seen and known by their leaders and each other.

We also have a crèche for our littlest tamariki. This is open the whole gathering.

SERVE OUR KIDS

Our tamariki need some wonderful adults to help facilitate Sunday’s. The lessons, craft, games and snacks are organised and prepared by the Children's Ministry Leader. You just need to show up on the Sunday.

Lil Rippers, Nippers and Groms each have a volunteer leader and supporting volunteer/s.

Leaders — you’ll welcome the children, present the lesson, and lead the group.

Supporters — you’re there to support both the leader and tamariki. You’ll help welcome tamariki and provide support with craft and games.

GROMS EVENTS

Kind of like a warm up for youth group, our Groms get together once a term for a fun Friday night. Think pizza night, clip’n’climb, bounce, laser tag, mini-golf. These are epic nights for these young adolescents to build confidence and connection with each other.

CV Youth: Parakai Pools

It's summertime and CV Youth love a good splash so we are off to Parakai Hot Pools. Parakai Hot Pools' highlight is the retro water slides so it’s guaranteed to be a good time. Meet time is 12.30 pm, so we get the whole afternoon to have fun. We will finish the afternoon with a BBQ so invite your friends and let’s go. Registrations are essential.

At CV Youth we’re about fun AND formation into the way of Christ. Our Circles are spaces to come together on this journey of discipleship to Jesus.

This year marks 10 years gathering together as a church community. Join us on this special Sunday to celebrate this first decade and look forward to the next!

Plan to stay around after the gathering for some celebratory kai together.
